EDUC 211 Planning for Instruction 3 CR Instructor-learners plan for the delivery of adult instruction by creating instructional materials appropriate for students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Instructor-learners develop the skills required to create, evaluate, or modify a course through the construction of lesson plans and course syllabi. This course assists instructor-learners in ways to plan lessons and units of instruction, and to identify textbooks, instructional media, and resources. Emphasis is on lesson planning and syllabus development, particularly as they relate to higher order thinking skills such as Bloom’s Taxonomy and domains of learning. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of EDUC 207 with a grade of C or higher .
