ENET 212 Micro-Controller System I 5 CR This course introduces the students to a simple micro-controller system using Arduino board. The first part is an introduction to system hardware such as; CPU, RAM, Flash, EEPROM, input and out, UART and I2C bus. The second part students write C language to use control structure, functions, array and strings, to control input and output of some electronics devices to do their labs as well as building their project. The C++ and the library codes also examined. Practical labs and project help the students understand both hardware and software and troubleshooting techniques. Prerequisite(s): (MATH& 141 and CS& 131 with a C or better) or instructor permission.
