AQUA 120 Aquatic Biodiversity

An introduction to the taxonomy, anatomy, and life cycles of plants and animals, with an emphasis on Pacific Northwest algae, shellfish, and finfish. This course will also cover evolutionary adaptations to aquatic environments.
Prerequisite(s): ACCUPLACER Arithmetic score of 75 or MATH 090  with a C or higher; and ACCUPLACER Sentence Skills score of 71 or ENGL 092  with a C or higher; and ACCUPLACER Reading Comprehension score of 71 or RDG 085  with a C or higher; or Instructor permission.
Completion Of or Concurrent Enrollment In: AQUA 100 , AQUA 110 , AQUA 130  and AQUA 135  all with a C- or higher or concurrent enrollment in AQUA 100 , AQUA 110 , AQUA 130  and AQUA 135 , or Instructor permission.

Note: This class must be taken concurrently with AQUA 100 , AQUA 110 , AQUA 130  and AQUA 135 .
