ENGT 215 Applied Statics 5 CR This course is an introduction to engineering mechanics, focusing on the analysis of “static” (non-moving) structures. Students will use statics concepts to determine the external reaction loads and internal member forces for trusses, frames, and machines. Prerequisite(s): MATH& 142 with a C or higher (Acceptable substitute: AMATH 111 with a C or higher and CET 102 with a C or higher).
