NURS 130 Health & Illness Concepts 2 3 CR This course is designed to further develop the concepts within the three domains of the individual, healthcare, and nursing. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of comfort, immunity, oxygenation, perioperative care, sensory perception, sexuality, addiction, family, stress and coping, teaching and learning, advocacy, ethics, informatics, safety, and care of the family are introduced. This course will include integrated General University Requirements (GURs) applicable to the Nursing DTA. Prerequisite(s): NURS 120 , NURS 125 , NUTR 116 and PSYC 116 with a B- or higher.
