Reaction of the human body to injury from physical, chemical, and biological agents. Inflammation, necrosis, cellular degeneration, disturbances of growth, circulation, and neoplasia. Selected diseases manifesting typical symptomology.
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Dental Hygiene program. MATH& 107 or higher, BIOL& 160, BIOL& 241, BIOL& 242, BIOL& 260, (CHEM& 121 or CHEM& 161), CHEM& 131, ENGL& 101, ENGL& 102, PSYC& 100, (CMST& 210 or CMST& 220), SOC& 101, and NUTR& 101 all with a B or higher.
