AUTO 150 Engines 6 CR This course provides a detailed study of modern internal combustion engines. Coursework includes fundamental engine design and operation, component identification and related mechanical systems such as cooling and lubrication. An emphasis will be placed on the diagnosis and repair of customer concerns related to engine mechanical failures. Prerequisite(s): Fall Quarter 2024 - AUTO 100 , AUTO 102 , and AUTO 113 , all with a D or higher. DET 100 and DET 102 may substitute for AUTO 100 and AUTO 102 .
